Beta Pilot - Two-Minute Testimonial!08.09.12

After a combined year of research and development we have always felt confident that we were creating something valuable. But no matter your level of preparation you can never know quite what to expect when launching a beta test pilot with a brand new wellness app in a company with 6 locations across the southeast and mid-atlantic as we did just over 2 months ago. Add to that the fact that we never set foot in 5 of those locations and I guess you could say we had some game time jitters.

After two-months of feedback, tweaks and on-the-fly fixes the results are in, and oh are we ever proud of the stories that time has told. When it comes to wellness the stats can speak for themselves, but when it comes to our blog we like to dish up heaping spoonfuls of health knowledge with a more human touch. With that in mind, here’s just one quick-hitter interview conducted by Nudge CEO, Mac Gambill with one of our test case contestants in what we like to call a Two-Minute Testimonial:

Matthew S.

Do you think Nudge affected your daily habits?

“Yes, the health meter has become my daily competition.”

Do you find Nudge easy to use?

“Yes, it’s the fact that you aren’t scanning bar codes or searching, it’s just about eating in the right proportions, and the idea that you are going for foods that are more nutritious.”

Would you recommend Nudge to a friend?

“Yes! I lost 13 pounds, I feel better, and I cut out caffeine completely!”

Would you say Nudge has created a sense of camaraderie in the workplace?

“Yes, everyone loves to say ‘go nudge yourself.’ When we go out to lunch we are thinking about what we are eating, and talk trash if someone orders something that is really unhealthy. Everyone is paying attention to everyone, and not just themselves. There is a newly formed sense of competition not only with yourself, but with those around you.”

Not too shabby if I may say so myself! In fact, Matthew is still flying high as he and the rest of the winning team from the inaugural competition got to take in a free meal with healthful selections provided by tasty Richmond eatery and friends of Nudge, Sam Miller’s Restaurant. Mmm, victory!
